Yash Gupta
Founder & Managing Partner
Yash Gupta leads YGR’s integrated real estate platform with over 30 years of experience in developing and repositioning 7.5 million sq. ft. of commercial assets. He introduced the innovative “Club” office format focused on sustainability and employee well-being.

Previously, he served as Senior MD & Country Head at Hines India, overseeing $926 million in investments, including the award-winning One Horizon Center. His global experience spans McKinsey, Silverglades, and Price Waterhouse across the U.S., Europe, and India.

Yash holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Carnegie Mellon University, and is a Visiting Professor of Real Estate at Ashoka University.
Alex Felez Buchholz
Senior Advisor
Alex is a seasoned real estate development advisor with over 34 years of experience across Europe, India, and the Middle East. He has led the design and delivery of large-scale office, residential, and mixed-use developments, bringing deep expertise in design management, project management, risk assessment, and sustainable solutions.
Over his career, Alex has been responsible for more than 50 million sq. ft. of development and refurbishment, including senior leadership roles with Hines Europe and Hines India, as well as construction management positions with international contractors FCC and CYO.
He is known for driving organizational growth, implementing innovative strategies, and creating long-term value in complex real estate ventures.
Sarfaraz Alam
CEO, Development
Sarfaraz Alam brings extensive experience in real estate development and construction management, having worked with leading global developers and contractors including Hines, Aldar Laing O’Rourke, Leighton International, J&P, Dutco Balfour Beatty Group, and ALJREIC.
Over his career, he has delivered and contributed to landmark projects across India and internationally, such as One Horizon Center, Atrium Place, Skyview Corporate Park (Gurgaon), Dubai Mall (UAE), Aldar HQ (Abu Dhabi), and the Jabal Kaaba Five-Star Hotel (Saudi Arabia). His expertise spans high-rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, and infrastructure developments, ensuring world-class execution and long-term value creation.
Sarfaraz has overseen more than 44 million sq. ft. of commercial and residential development, including 16 years with major international contractors and 14 years managing large-scale developments with global and domestic developers.

Leena Sengupta is a seasoned hospitality and asset management professional with leadership experience at Oberoi, Taj, and Marriott International. She brings deep expertise in business planning, operations optimization, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring efficient and high-performing assets. At Hotelivate, she partnered with hotel owners and operators to strengthen asset management programs, streamline operations, and enhance profitability.

Leena is passionate about integrating hospitality best practices into commercial real estate, with a strong focus on elevating tenant experience, driving operational excellence, and maximizing asset value. Over her career, she has successfully led and mentored diverse teams, fostering collaboration and enabling high-performing real estate environments.
She has managed 2,300+ hotel keys, brings 21 years of overall leadership experience, including 18 years managing luxury hotels such as JW Marriott Mumbai and The Oberoi New Delhi, and has 8 years of experience working with leading international hotel chains.
Amandeep Arora
CEO, Investments
Amandeep Arora brings over 16 years of experience across business development, advisory, strategy, and special initiatives within the hospitality and real estate sectors. As a founding member of YGR, he has been instrumental in building the platform and shaping its investment strategy. His expertise spans market analysis, deal structuring, stakeholder engagement, and business management, driving YGR’s growth and expansion.

With a career that spans 20+ cities in India and five countries, Amandeep brings a deep understanding of diverse markets and investment landscapes. His previous roles at JLL, Starwood Hotels, Marriott International, and JHM Interstate India Hotels & Resorts involved leading business strategy, executing expansion initiatives, underwriting, negotiating, and managing transactions.
